Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add recipes?

You can add recipes in three ways: paste a URL from any recipe website and our AI will extract it automatically, manually enter your own family recipes, or use the intelligent recipe search to find new ideas.

How does auto-generation work?

Go to Settings and enable "Auto-Generate Meal Plans." Choose which day of the week you want DinnerDone to automatically create your meal plan. You'll wake up to a planned week without lifting a finger!

How do I share with my family?

Create or join a Household in the Profile tab. Once connected, everyone in your household will see the same meal plan and grocery list. They'll also get notifications about what's for dinner each day.

What are defrost reminders?

When you have meals planned that use frozen protein (chicken, beef, etc.), DinnerDone will send you a reminder the morning before to move the meat from the freezer to the fridge. No more frozen chicken on taco night!

Can I plan just weeknights?

Yes! In Settings, you can choose "Weeknights Only" mode. DinnerDone will only generate meal plans for Monday through Friday.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find DinnerDone, and tap "Cancel Subscription."

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Your recipes and meal plans are stored securely in the cloud and are only accessible to you and your household members. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
